Voting For A Loser? Vote Ron Paul, NOT John McCain
This election really stinks! If you're going to vote for a loser anyway, why not at least vote for a good loser? Now that Huck is history, why not lose with Ron Paul, and at least spare your conscience?

♣ Family Follies... [sigh!]
Did you hear about the best reason to use a voting machine? BA-DA-BING! It's so you can vote one-handed while you hold your nose with the other! BA-DA-BOOM!
Mike Huckabee is gone, leaving.... let's see now... right! It's Ron Paul, John McCain, and... Mom? Well, there's no accounting for family! You've gotta love 'em, but at times they can be very exasperating, especially once they've passed a certain age! Like little children, they may just be inclined to say what they're really thinking!
John McCain has to be pretty annoyed over his mother's recent remarks. He was confronted by Chris Wallace of FOX News with what Roberta McCain said in this C-SPAN interview [watch from about the 15:35 time tick.]
In answer to the question "How much support do you think he [McCain] has among the base of the Republican Party?" she replies "I don't think he has any." Not ANY? Thanks, Mom, for stating the obvious! McCain's mother went on to say that voters would "have to take" McCain while "holding their nose," saying this while holding her own nose. Mom, HAVE to take me? What do you mean, Mom? So much for family loyalty!
Just last Sunday at church a fellow parishioner who knows of my strong support for Ron Paul walked up to me and, responding to Roberta McCain's remarks, said "I guess I'll be holding my nose and voting for McCain."
How about you? Will you be voting with one hand while holding your nose with the other? Well, here's my take on that: if you know the guy you're going to vote for is going to lose anyway, why pretend that you're "trying to beat Hillary?" Why not at least vote for a good loser? How about voting for someone who doesn't, metaphorically speaking, stink?
Now, mind you, I gave up voting for the "lesser of evils" long ago - and so I will never again have the moral problem of "holding my nose" and voting for someone I despise! However, what about you folks out there, who like my friend from church have become conditioned to "vote Republican" or in some other way are stuck on the dead-end "party politics train?" You know McCain hasn't got a prayer against either Hillary or Obama in a general election, so WHY VOTE FOR HIM?
Let's see now... if you're thinking of voting for McCain at all, you are probably already someone who's said -- to yourself and maybe to others -- "Ron Paul can't win." So, why not consider this equation?:
"Ron Paul can't win" = "John McCain can't win"
If those statements are accepted facts, equivalent propositions, why not vote for the guy who -- although he "can't win" -- will at least leave you with a clear conscience about your vote? Just write him in if you have to! And then when Hillobamary becomes President, you'll still be able to honestly say "I voted Republican" or "At least I didn't vote for it!"
